I’m Megan, the face behind Megan Foster Photography. I’m a family photographer based in Hertfordshire and I specialise in maternity, newborn, milestone and family photography.
I have a beautiful bespoke studio based at my home in Hatfield – It’s the ideal space to create natural, timeless family portraits.
Those hazy baby days go by so quickly and having two boys of my own means I know how truly important it is to capture all of the little details, creating timeless memories that last a lifetime.

Many parents are pleasantly surprised to find they have nothing to do while they’re here. This is your time to nap (most parents do, don’t be shy), enjoy some quiet, or catch up on emails, texts, and calls. Just bring your baby and the changing bag, and I’ll handle the rest. Yep I even change smelly nappies.

Hatfield, Hertfordshire older baby Photography Experience
After our newborn sessions, I offer my sitter sessions otherwise none as older baby milestone photoshoot for babies between six to ten months old in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This is such one of my favourite ages to photograph! Once your baby is sitting up unassisted and independently, they have so many great expressions but aren’t mobile yet!
From the moment you step into our Hertfordshire studio, you’ll notice everything is set for a seamless and enjoyable photoshoot. I will be your baby’s personal entertainer, using songs, bubbles, playful antics, funny faces, and adorable noises to coax out those heart-melting smiles. Before you arrive, I will have a selection of outfits ready from my client wardrobe waiting for you to pick your favorites.
Our older baby milestone session will be a mixture of beautiful updated portraits, tiny close-ups of features, capturing unique expressions and faces your baby is now famous for (these are always my favourite )– the ones you’ve grown to love and cherish. I’m here to ensure that every giggle, every curious glance, and those fleeting, adorable expressions are beautifully immortalized.

I’m an expert at engaging and relaxing older babies, making them feel completely at ease. Many of my clients frequently mention my ability to make both them and their children feel comfortable and engaged during our sessions. It’s my job to capture the most natural expressions from your babies. With many years of experience working with and caring for children, this is my specialty.

Your baby is turning ONE! Can you believe it? Time to document this wonderful milestone with a Cake Smash photoshoot! Let’s plan with beautiful and celebrate a very special milestone together– your baby’s first birthday – with my fun and exciting cake smash photography sessions based in my home studio Hertfordshire and Hatfield! During my cake smash photoshoots i try and capture every precious moment of your little one’s first big step into toddlerhood.
During my cake smash sessions, I’ll try and document every curious expression, every smear of icing, and every exciting moment from start to finish. Some babies will love it, some won’t be too sure, but either way, we will capture the day perfectly together! The cake is not just for eating, but for smashing, exploring, and yes, creating a bit of a lovable mess! Plus, you get to take home the remaining cake. Why not put your feet up with a cup of tea, some cake and remember the moments from our session.
